Ice Flow - Lake Superior
North Shore, Lake Superior, Minnesota. Sunset 2014
The frozen shoreline of Lake Superior, the ice gets forced against shore, it buckles and cracks. I'd never seen anything like this before, it was as if I was on an Arctic expedition.
Thirty Seconds of Calm
North Shore, Lake Superior, Minnesota, USA.
This puddle caught my eye when the wind stopped blowing for 30 seconds, just enough time to setup and get one shot.
Cascade River Mouth, Lake Superior
This is the mouth of the Cascade river flowing into Lake Superior. The flow of the river looks to coming from underneath the edge that I was standing on. Maybe I shouldn't of been standing where I was.
Frozen Over, Lake Superior
North Shore, Lake Superior, Minnesota, USA. Sunset
I was half expecting the shoreline to be frozen over, but instead it was only the larger rocks that where frozen.
Blowing in the Wind
American flag blowing in the wind for 40minutes, on a beautiful mid summers night.

Down stream from the main waterfall.
Downtown St Paul,on the banks of the Mississippi River.
With a fresh snow fall, it was a great opportunity to take some night shots down at the local park. Newell Park, St Paul.
Lake Superior, Tettegouche State Park.
I will always remember this windy day. Never had I expected a lake to produce such enormous waves. It was mesmerizing to watch wave after wave crash into and over the trees and cliffs.
The cliffs in the centre of the image are about 30ft high and the trees on top about 15ft high.
Lake Maria State Park, at the end of an autumn day.
I'm from New Zealand, where for the past 12 years I've been perfecting my photography skills.
My wife and I now live, work and play in Minnesota, can't wait for winter :)
