Smiling "Babe" in a Red Chrysler
Alice enriched my life! I miss her, as do so many others here on CM whom, while never meeting her, were encouraged by her comments and became friends with her. Interacting with people and making friends. Isn't that the very best of reasons to participate here?
Working the Monarda
Our Monarda (or bee balm) lives up to it's name.
These Trumpeter Swan cygnets are staying pretty close to their parent.

Slowly I Go Into That Night
Moonlit, the sinking barn rages against the darkness.
The first time I saw Lake Superior like this was a real memory maker.
Small and Fast
It took over 1000 shots and six hours of trying before catching this female Ruby-throated Hummingbird in flight. It was fun!
Touch The "Night" Sky Too!
It pays to stop and look up every once in awhile. It helps us keep everything in perspective.
Up, Up and Away!
The bumble bees in our backyard are all in a tizzy over the Monarda plants that are in full bloom.
Photography is a hobby I have enjoyed for years, and digital photography has only increased my interest in it. Both the technical and creative opportunities are fascinating. I love light and how subtle it can be. But the best thing about photography is that my wife loves it too. It is a hobby we can do together.
I really appreciate the work being shared on this site. What an inspiration you all are!

I cannot look through the lens of a camera without being amazed at the imagination and creative power of God. Mark Nicholson
