Another Mississippi Morning Mood
At Schoolcraft State Park you have access to the river channel as well as some backwater areas and the early morning scenes are delightful and ever changing.
I got some nice shots of this pair of Columbines but then I changed my shooting plane for a depth of field experiment - I thought it turned out pretty well.

Bluebells of Carley 3
I go every April to see the Bluebells at Carley State Park and it is always a treat to see them.
Bluebells of Carley 2
There is always an amazing display of these beautiful flowers at Carley State Park in mid to late April.
For years I have wanted to get to the High Falls of the Pigeon River and I finally made it. I was not disappointed.
The Bluebells of Carley
Carley State Park is known for it's annual Spring display of Bluebells and it is often simply amazing. it is always a bit frustrating to me because even a good shot just doesn't do the scene justice. If you go in mid to late April you just might see me wandering the trails with my camera, or trout fishing along the banks of the Whitewater River.
The lack of color in the woods made me think I should try a B & W shot of this iconic falls.
