Minneapolis reflecting on the Mississippi as well as reflecting the last of the sunlight for the day.
The rain has been trying to put these out for awhile now but they continue to resist.
One day the ground and air is a flurry of activity with hundreds of ants leaving their nest in search of next years living quarters. It's an unusual site to see ants flying. I call it moving day.

There were well over a hundred Wood Ducks coming and going from this one area of the pond making a lot of noise. From time to time a Mallard or wigeon would join in.

I'm not sure which one was more curious, me or the jumping spider who slowly came around the stem to see what was going on.
Being able to go out and enjoy our surroundings is such a privilege. Using a camera to take it in provides motivation to get away from my comfortable cave and see it in unique ways. What a great hobby!
