About that Barn!
Never was about anything but that barn.
It had been leaning for so long
some thought it would never collapse.
Others waited for its demise,
hoping to be there as it slowly followed
its rhythm into the pond.
It happened one night;
its tempo paused and it started its mellow
cadence into the water.
Photos of that sinking barn
are no more.
No longer a part of just some folk lore.
To the barn.

Follow that Dome
As I was driving back from up north I spotted this beautiful dome in the distance. It took me awhile to find it but I am so glad I did. It led to a historical church. Church of St. Joseph-Catholic (Christ the King Catholic Church) is a historic church on Main Street between 7th and 8th Streets in Browerville, Minnesota. The church was built by Polish immigrants who came to America as part of a migration movement between the American Civil War and World War I.

Sunrise Greetings from Forest Lake
With Carlos Avery still closed, I had to travel to Forest Lake to find the beautiful sunrise; so worth the trip.
Which Way to Go
You can head up to the barn to see the animals or go down to the house for a piece of apple pie.
Hop Aboard the Old Green Wagon
It may be a bit uncomfortable but it will get you where you are going...if it's hooked up to a nice set of horses.
Zion Chapel in the Hills
Another 'slam on your brakes' site was this tiny little chapel in Browerville, Mn.
The church steeple was taken from the original church. It was metal and reminded me of something out of "The Wizard of Oz." Very charming little church.
Now, a yellow barn certainly catches your eye when driving down a country road right toward it. Fun find for a gloomy looking day.
