doesn't this forum get used more. It would be a great place to share information for those who are new (and old) to the photography scene in this state. Just curious.

Yes, would be a good idea to use the form more and in addition at least for the folks in TC to have a get together place like Underground Music Café on Hamline south of Larpenteur Avenue in St. Paul may be Saturday afternoon or so for coffee and discussion on photography!

In Wyoming we have a group of people who get together regularly at photos from the past week. Out of 10 photographers the usual turnout is 4-6. Everyone presents one photo and all comment on it. It is a lot of fun and very informative.

Nasser-pretty neat 'tongue-in-cheek' way to set this up. Or is this an already on-going group/meeting?

jean, No 'tongue-in-cheek'(:-) I looked at this several years ago to get together on late afternoon on a small park near 35W overlooking down town Minneapolis. But unfortunately it is an outdoor park and gets cold in our long winters so makes it uncomfortable to get together! So looking at Paul's comments I thought it would a be good idea to have CMers and in general people who like photography to have little more cozier place of gathering and sharing photos and techniques and listing to some music and socializing. The place I suggested use to be a very cozy place but I have not been there in a while. Other CMers including yourself can have other suggestion for other places for get together. Hope I make sense(:-)

When was the last time you made sense, Nasser? :) jk Logging on here to get any updates to your idea.

Yes, Nasser, I would like to meet occasionally. St Paul is almost on the other side of the world, but not that far really.

That is a great idea Nasser!!

Underground Music Cafe on Hamline, south of Larpenteur Avenue in St. Paul, Saturday around 2 p.m., 1-21-17

Nasser (he told me so) is trying this - so for a cup of coffee, come, join the gathering.

Nasser, it is very nice of you to put this together. I will not be able to attend as I will be working. Have fun and hopefully I can catch it next time.
